Conditions
- Any LTE 5000 or Armada 4100 purchased prior to 18 June 1996 has 3yr
parts, 1yr labour, Return to base service.
- On-site coverage is from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and excludes
public holidays.
- Next Business Day Warranty Service is fulfilled only through the HP
Direct Replacement Program.
- Onsite response: HP will respond on-site, at the customer's location,
by the business day following request for warranty service, based on
the standard office hours in the country where the call is placed. Next
Business Day Warranty Service is based on commercially reasonable best
effort. In some countries and under certain supplier constraints, response
time may vary. If your location is outside of the customary service
zone, response time may be longer or there may be an additional charge.
Contact your local HP service organization for response time in
your area.
- These options have an independent warranty and 3-year parts, labour
and on-site service the same as the other system products.
- Any Server purchased prior to 6 February 1996 has 3 year parts, 1yr
labour, 1 year on-site Service.
- After a call has been logged with the HP Support Center Centre, the Service
Providers time to respond to the customer by telephone is:

- After a call has been logged with the HP Support Center Centre, the Service
Provider will use their best efforts to provide a time to repair / resolve
the problem which is typically:

- Limited On-site warranty: The customer must be located within 80kms
of the nearest Authorised Service Provider.
- Options (excluding monitors) have a 1 year parts and labour warranty
or the remainder of the warranty period for the HP product in or
on which the option is installed, whichever is the longer. If the HP
product in which the option is installed is covered by any HP on-site
service offering, that on-site service will apply to the option as well.
- The inherent warranty on product batteries is limited to one year only. This applies to those batteries purchased as options, and those batteries that are a standard item built into the notebook or tablet PC themselves, regardless of the inherent warranty of that notebook or tablet PC.
- Monitors and desktops system units hold separate inherent warranty conditions. Care Pack upgrades are available on each.
- Next Business Day onsite is only available on standard notebook configurations
- This only applies to the Armada , LTE 5000, Contura, Contura Aero,
Concerto and Evo series.
- Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
- Service carried out by HP Service centres only.
- In Australia, Standard Warranty on Armada E & M series, Evo commercial
notebooks and Compaq Tablet PC includes courier pick-up from anywhere
in Australia with a 48 hour service workshop turnaround repair time,
performed strictly by selected Accredited Service Providers Only.
- 90 day or 1000 hours std bulb warranty for the MP1400, 1600, 1800
and 2800. There is a 180-day standard bulb warranty for the MP1410 and
within the bulb warranty period for the MP1410 defective bulbs will
be replaced via overnight shipment.
- Onsite response is Next Business Day only.
- Onsite response is 3 hours limited warranty.
- This is a 'limited' warranty against faulty materials and workmanship.
It does not cover damage caused by misuse or normal wear & tear.
For any warranty issues with Carry Cases, please contact the HP
Account Manager at Targus Australia.
- Free Parts Replacement Only for Repair (Parts only). If the HP
product is covered by parts-only replacement warranty, the defective
parts will be supplied free of charge during the warranty period. The
product can be sent or carried in, at the customer's own cost and risk,
to HP or to a HP approved, Authorised Service Provider, to be
repaired.
Following repair, the repaired product should be collected, at the
customer's own cost and risk, from HP or the Authorised Service
Provider. The user must make backup copies of all programs and data
and remove any removable storage media.
NOTE: The labour costs for repair are not included in this warrant
